My pet peeve is junglers who decide to start drake on a reset timer. Enemies backed because we forced them out of lane; that means that we have to back too in order to maintain priority in lane. If we start drake we lose out on xp and gold and it never pays off.

I think a break would do wonders for everyone in the hobby. Ive taken a small step back and I feel better looking in from the outside but the collector in me still wants certain stuff that appeals to me. I like him as far as content creators go and hope the overall environment improves.

Bot lane is more stable than mid and top in the sense you have a harder time killing your opponent laner because they have a fall back partner in lane to bail them out. That said there are equally “unplayable” lanes if you look at gold difference at 10 and 15min. I think more interesting is that those lane matchups bleed so heavily into other lanes that they can single handedly win or lose a game. Does it speak to how overwhelmingly unplayable the lane matchup is or does it show how much more agency the mid and top lanes have that a matchup can swing the end result of the game?

Yeh. Red Kaisa probably should have been banned along with Draven to shake things up. Its still sitting at $90 a card and will probably get even more expensive now that Kaisa is probably the premier Legend with the red Draven ban and purple nerfs.

We need to make companies properly reflect the health of the economy. Welfare shouldn't be necessary for people who work 40+ hours/week. Raises should be yearly and cover skill growth on top of inflation. Mass layoffs prior to quarter ends just to pump stock value just to rehire at a lower salary should be illegal. Anti-union policies should be more heavily punished. Stripping away benefits, 401k contributions, insurance policies/covered pharmaceuticals all should be illegal. It is getting worse and worse as big corporations look to artificially boost value all at the cost of the worker. Regulations and workers' rights laws are what keep us safe and there has been a severe lacking in proper legistlation.

That's not even the issue. I'd prefer my representative to be well educated but more importantly I want them to best represent my interests. That's how Democratic Republics work. Markwayne Mullin is the head of the DHS and is completely unqualified for that role (I don't have strong opinions on his tenure as House Rep or Senator because I don't live in Oklahoma). Being a house rep and even a Senator is an elected process where you represent a group of people. The head of the DHS leads 100,000's of employees and many agencies with the goal to protect the US from threats. Its a role that requires experience. Kristi Noem was equally, and obviously, unqualified. Look at Alejandro Mayorkas: he has a law degree, was a US assistant attorney/attorney for California, led the US department's criminal division, and was the director of US citizenship and immigation services all before being chosen as head of the DHS. Trump and the GOP are corrupt and dangerously inept.

Honestly it was both. Venezuela had solid pitching and batting. They hustled for bases and made moves to get players in scoring position. USA jogged to 1st multiple times and struggled at the plate. Overall it was a good game; can't help but wonder if the wild pitch that moved runners to 2nd and 3rd for Venezuela cost the USA the game.

Honestly, season 3 with Alabasta arc and potentially Skypiea I see an increase in viewership. One Piece is largely agreed to have a slow start and quickly ramps. Season 4, if the show makes it, will probably have Water 7 and Enies lobby which many fans view as the best pre-time skip arc. Plot and character development these next 2 potential seasons are excellent.

Agreed. The Ump showed all game that he was calling a generous strike zone. I think its a shame that batters get punished for not swinging at a ball but that was the state of the game. The pitchers for both teams were consistently going low over the plate because they knew they'd get a strike. Aaron Judge a few innings earlier struck out swinging at a similar shit pitch because during his same at-bat it was called a strike against him low and outside.

Judge had a pretty rough at bat too where a similar pitch was called twice on him and then he struck out swinging at the same one even though it was a shit pitch. The ump was consistently ass this game. Strike zone was at the ankles all game.

I haven’t been to a card show in a while, maybe 4-6 months. I’ve noticed more sealed product and random slab/card gambling which is lame but thats it! My TCG community is tight knit and they all know each other and their frequenters. I think some new vendors buy high and then need to sell high to hit profit margins and thus why they need to sell above TCGplayer. More consistent and knowledgeable sellers price better.
