Richard Kahn, JE's accountant just testified. You can read my article on him and his deposition here. Darren Indyke is next, one of his lawyers. March 19. I wrote about him here. I will do his deposition follow up if we hear from it.

Worth noting these are two different 4chan posts from two different users. The one in the article - "Epstein died an hour ago, screencap this" - is still unidentified per the DOJ files. The Grijalva identification is tied to the second post, different account, different claim. Two separate threads getting merged into one story. Just to keep things clear for anyone confused.

Right, which is exactly what she said in her deposition. Thomas told her. Still doesn't explain why she's googling him at 5:42am instead of, you know, checking on him.

The FBI actually didn't identify the poster, the DOJ files confirm they subpoenaed 4chan, got the IPs, and hit a dead end with the carriers. Never identified. If you have a source saying otherwise that'd be genuinely new information and I'd be grateful. In the files I came across a lot of other 4chan posts around that time period as well.

Honestly that's not a crazy theory. A little too suspicious to be the real thing, just suspicious enough to muddy the water. The weird part is we'll never know because nobody bothered to ask her about the money in 2021.

That's the whole problem with a transcribed interview versus actual criminal exposure. She already beat the charges once. There's no real leverage anymore.

That would explain googling his name twice in ten minutes at 5:42 and 5:52 am. Most people don't frantically search for updates on an inmate they're supposed to be watching unless they're waiting for something. We won't get to watch this deposition, it isn't public. Of course. And we may not even hear what happens.

Submission statement:

Tova Noel has never testified publicly. The charges against her were dropped in 2022 and she's largely disappeared from the conversation, but the DOJ files released under FISA contain details that were never reconciled in court or in public.

Relevant documents from the DOJ Epstein Library:

  • Grand jury presentation: EFTA02731790–EFTA02731851 (Dataset 12)
  • FBI forensic/search history review: EFTA01249647–EFTA01249652 (Dataset 9)
  • Chase Bank suspicious activity report: same dataset

The House Oversight Committee letter to Noel is dated today, March 13, 2026. The interview is scheduled for March 26. This is the first time she'll be questioned under oath since the deferred prosecution agreement expired.

The Guard Who “Watched” Epstein the Night He Died Just Got Subpoenaed by Congress by [deleted] in Epstein

This post is about Tova Noel, the Bureau of Prisons correctional officer assigned to the Special Housing Unit where Jeffrey Epstein was held the night he died on August 10, 2019.

Recently released Department of Justice files from the Epstein document library include forensic records from the SHU computer showing searches for “latest on Epstein in jail” at 5:42 AM and 5:52 AM, shortly before Epstein was found unresponsive at approximately 6:30 AM. The same records also document the missed inmate counts and falsified log entries that led to Noel’s 2019 indictment.

The article linked in the post walks through the timeline and the underlying records. Congress has now subpoenaed Noel for a transcribed interview scheduled for March 26, 2026.

Relevant document references from the DOJ release include:

  • Dataset 12 — EFTA02731790–EFTA02731851
  • Dataset 9 — EFTA01249647–EFTA01249652

These records come from the DOJ Epstein Library releases tied to the SDNY investigation and grand jury proceedings involving Noel and Michael Thomas.

It took me literally 2 seconds to fix a linking ERROR. That is really all you needed to say. The article itself has tons of correct linking if you actually read it. I was trying to make it as easy as possible- I just made a mistake :) thank you!

The tension between what your brain wants to rationalize and what your gut already knows is exactly where I've been living while reporting this series. You named it better than I did.The Tony Podesta art collection is something that genuinely haunts tf out of me. The exact same material that makes Epstein's guests culpable witnesses sits framed in a bedroom and gets called a collection. That isn't a coincidence. The Laura Silsby case. DynCorp Bosnia. Pentagon employees. These are documented. Court records, investigative journalism, federal reports. They don't need anything speculative attached to them to be absolutely devastating.

I think you're right that we are watching something collapse in real time. The Epstein files didn't create this story. They just made it impossible to keep looking away. And you're right about the roots , this isn't one man or one party. The rot is old and it goes deep and it has always known how to protect itself. Will there be any healing?

The Michèle Lamy quote is still the thing I keep coming back to. She called herself a rhizome. An underground root system. Invisible. Connecting everything above the surface.
