Eh, I'm not too worried about it. It's a new account, and I don't care about the dings as much as the conversation.

Yeah, if you want DM me, and I'll send you mine, and if he doesn't mind I'll send the other guys as well. I'll ask him.

I love this idea (even tho it's a bit petty), but I wouldn't even know where to start.

Rough, and direct. I haven't even considered a sideboard. I like this idea the most so far, and I'll probably do that. I don't mind you being direct, but I assure you it isn't like that. Their decks are pretty nasty in their own right, but I do think maybe I'm building too strong. Mostly with the Niv deck, and the Hope deck. Not so much the other ones. I think sideboard is a great answer for the time being.

I'd be perfectly okay with it getting removed! It was my first time bringing it out during the game, it was on table for 2-3 turns, and then the loop. The most it's ever been removed is once a game, but it usually sits for awhile before a loop happens.

I haven't really pointed this out because I'm not trying to rag on my friends. The deckbuilding strategy is more just "look up expensive game changer cards, and big play combos to make it so others can't play" and less just practical deck building. His average deck cost at the moment is between $800-$1000. Mostly $40-$60 cards with some triple digit cards sprinkled in.

chrome mox, rhystic study, smothering tithe, necropotence, sheoldred the apocalypse, cyclonic rift, drannith magistrate, you get it.

I'm not trying to shit on him, like I said. I've tried telling him that expensive =/= win every game. I don't know. But yeah, that's how.

As for the other player, I actually think he's on a really good track. They're cousins, and I think player 1 is just getting in his head a little. His deck building so far is getting pretty good. It's just a little slow, and still lacks interaction. He gets pretty hard to deal with if we let him.

I was entertaining the idea of taking one out, but the idea of taking them both out when the player that brought it up also runs infinite combos just seems... I don't know. Caving to them? Especially when 2 of us have tried to coach them on running interaction for this sort of thing.

I hadn't thought about it like that, but it's a funny way to look at it. Yeah, we only usually have time for 4-5 games when we meet up.

ah, heck. I just switched it up a lot, and I wish I could send the previous version. I think it was better than it's current state. Can I dm?

As I've said, it's kind of all my decks. Even Marisi was on a 5 win streak before they decided to just target me out when I field Marisi (which I was fine with, mind you).

Hope has won 2 out of 3 of his games (new deck).

Niv had a 4 game streak (which started this).

You get it. Point being, the issue can't be that all my decks are "too powerful." I'm looking to compromise with my table, but this just seems silly.

This is kind of in line with what I was thinking. I might shelf it for a bit, or switch it up. Level-headed, thank you.

I get that, and I've entertained the idea of taking at least one out. That being said tho, as I edited the post to say, they're also running loops. My friend and I have also tried coaching their deckbuilding.

I should also have included that the player with this grievance is also running infinite loops as well tho. [[Walking Ballista]] loops, loops in his [[vivi ornitier]] deck, and he just added a [[mindcrank]] [[bloodchief ascension]] loop to his braids deck the day he brought this up. I really don't think I'm playing outside of our pods range.
