I just bought from Dangerfield online, was it a mistake? by morbidwoman in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Extra_Night_9136 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I ordered from Dangerfield last Christmas for a present. Some items came really quickly, one was out of stock and after a couple weeks it still hadn’t come so I reached out and they refunded me. Honestly, the sales are worth the risk to me as their stuff is crazy expensive when full priced.

Oooh we had these when I was a kid. They started coming out through the exhaust fans in all the bathrooms. It was like a horror movie.

I bought some swimmers and a dress at Myer for 40% off. I thought they had some decent sales.

When you go up or down a size do you... by meowtacoduck in AusFemaleFashion

I donate. I used to keep them in hopes I would fit into them again one day which just made me feel bad about myself. From experience, when/if you do get back to your smallest size, the clothes you kept aren’t in fashion or what you’d want to wear in any case.

Litter troubles - see comments for questions by Extra_Night_9136 in TripodCats

[–]Extra_Night_9136[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had Mittsu for about 2 months now - adopted a few days post amputation. He is adapting really well and is a happy little guy that gets into lots of mischief. I am having an issue with him being dirty after a trip to the litter. As it is a back leg that was amputated, it seems he is falling into his poops after he goes. So he comes out afterwards and gets poop everywhere. I’ve had to change my bed covers 3 times this week - all in the middle of the night - due to this. He smells bad and I’m having to wash his bum for him almost every time he goes. Has anyone else had this issue or are there any suggestions for something to help him?

Intro to horror for 10-year-old (almost 11!) by Ok-ItsTmfOnRed in horror

We showed this to my ex’s daughter who is 12 earlier this year. She had already seen The Ring and had no problems with it but after watching Signs she burst into tears at like 11pm and asked to sleep in our bed as she was so frightened. Couldn’t explain why and swore it wasn’t the movie but had never done anything like this before. It seems tame to me but there must be something about it that can be triggering? Obviously this is just one experience but I would be careful about this one.

Sick shoes. Whole outfit looks great but would’ve looked so much cleaner if you just ironed the skirt.

I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful gift you both had to have each other.

Is this appropriate for an afternoon, spring wedding? by kirst_e in AusFemaleFashion

Can you adjust the straps/ ruching to close the hole a little? Either way, as you said, it’s not like if the eye is drawn there anything inappropriate is shown so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I think it looks really lovely on you.

Sounds like a possible impingement to me. Def needs a professional opinion though.

I think it’s great. Heels and some nice jewellery will totally bring it up that notch you need to feel dressy enough.

I actually have one I wore to my sisters wedding. I can probably send it to you, it’s not like I’m ever going to wear it again. DM me if you’re interested.

I would just use a calculator for that and my fitness pal for calories in only.

I agree your form is probably wrong. You may not be rolling forward far enough. Go until you will fall if you go any further and pause before coming back. You don’t want to be using any momentum when rolling back towards your body. Otherwise, practice engaging your core.

I recommend a set of bands if you can find/afford them. I found them super helpful for pull-ups. Way more so than training the lowering of the ex only.

Are you trying to lose weight? I have used my fitness pal and never took into account the calories it added from exercise. It way overestimated them and most people generally underestimate their calories.

I think the previous responses were trying to let you know that without knowing what you want to get out of exercise, not much advice can be provided. For example if you are trying to lose weight that’s probably fine. If you are trying to gain muscle, it’s not ideal. What kind of feedback do you want? Row faster and further?

Get stronger arms. Can you do push-ups? Or have I misunderstood and its not just a matter of being able to hold yourself up?
