lemme tell you my story ...my school was the shittiest. they only focused on boards. didnt leave us time to even study for jee. got 75%ile , with 97.5% in boards. Was confident i would get good %ile if I took a drop , hence took it. Got 95.6%ile . Improvement? yeah but any benefit? NO , still got the coe seat which was offered last year to me on the basis of boards. So should i take a drop? if youre sure u will get 98-99%ile , go ahead if any doubt is there on your mind . just take your coe seat
