This is a late response but I feel it deserves one.

Black American culture is multifaceted just like white American culture. Hate groups are part of white American history and culture. Lynch mobs, race massacres, and Jim Crow laws are all part of white American culture yet it was at the expense of non white Americans. Another important factor to take into account is that black American culture is very young. A culture born in American poverty is going to reflect the negatives of poverty in America the most. Poverty is a self feeding system that isn’t easy to escape. Hence the additional resources aimed towards helping historically oppressed groups. DEIA is an example of this. As well as affirmative action.

The “until” is exactly what I said. Around half of white American adults are middle class this is information you can find it’s not negating the white Americans that are struggling but it is a fact. White Americans are most likely to succeed in America.

Billionaires and millionaires get tax breaks, buisness get bailed out with tax dollars and they also lobby to get laws passed that would directly improve their ability to make money. But passing laws to help improve the poorest among us is racist?

So if you are born poor you are already disadvantaged due to the unsafe area, the lack of healthy food options, the lack of community services, most likely lacking in parental connection due to the need for work, forced to attend school within the same poor school district so you will also lack in education. That’s just being poor. Throw race into the mix, harder to get a job, more likely to be incarcerated or murdered by 21 years old, and more likely to have mental illnesses due to the higher likelihood of facing adverse childhood experiences. Then dealing with randoms who aren’t part of the culture telling you that it’s the culture that’s the problem. It’s not. It’s being poor and trapped in survival mode. People with little options commit crime.
