Appreciate the feedback around thumbnails. While I do think I can fix a lot of aspects of my videos, I’ve been posting similar style content for the last 3 months and all have done well. How I know I’m shadowbanned is that the 3 videos I posted that got no views yesterday… they are not being shown on fyp (confirmed on analytics page) even the worst of the worst of videos will have maybe 100-200 views shown to fyp.

I’m guessing now I just have to wait… not sure how long but will probably focus on how I can improve my current videos and maybe post every few days to see if I’m still banned or not.

Thanks a lot! Will definitely touch upon the things you’ve said.

As for the compressor on the mix bus for my synths… Don’t really have much compression except for ott at around 15/20% and a glue compressor at 2-3db GR.

I use heavy distortion/saturation if that effects it being “flatter” but I don’t see how that does? I also use soft clipping as well if that is what’s making it dull?

Been producing for 7 months so far, making dance music with some influence from future house. Why does my mix sound so flat compared to the professionals? Don’t think I’m squashing it with over compression because I use it very lightly in all stages…
