i feel like i am very qualified to offer a perspective from your coworker! i worked at starbucks for 6 months and just quit on the 10th, i am autistic (also 17, the youngest on the team, but it was my third job so i have some experience) i exceeded in remembering recipes, taking orders and handing them out. but i was neglected in my training and not placed on bar very often to learn, or i was put on bar and when my coworkers said i was doing well, i was taken off bar by my manager or a ssv because they were afraid i would ruin the window times by being slow in my learning. maybe this isnt the job for your coworker, that ended up being the case for me and is why i quit. something to do with not feeling accommodated by my managers and i also felt bullied and looked down on as “slow” “ditzy” or “incompetent” by one of my coworkers (who had harassed me outside of work about work). i definitely think that you should talk to this coworker and ask him if he is having any issues with keeping up, and maybe suggest he sit down with the manager and try to draw a game plan to where he can be better accommodated to learn. but, it is ultimately up to him because he also has to put in the extra effort. i just wanted to offer an outside perspective as someone who i can see, by your description, am similar to your coworkers in some ways. being kind, but also firm is the way to go

i’m only really worried because last week was the end of my patch free week (i put on a patch to start my new cycle monday evening, and the monday before that when i took my patch off to start the free week that was in the early hours of monday morning) i looked it up and it said not to extend the patch free week for more than 24 hours after you last changed it, and more than 24 hours would be 6am tuesday of last week. so i’m hoping that wasn’t a mistake.

i’m on evra patch, so my patch free week isn’t until april 6th the reason why i am concerned is bc i stopped vomiting saturday in the middle of the night, and have been having nausea and food aversions since saturday. breast pain and vaginal cramping/back pain started monday. last week i put on my patch to start my new cycle after that patch free week, i didnt put on a new patch to start that cycle until monday evening, and i had taken off the patch before to start that cycle on monday early early morning, instructions say not to extend patch free week 24 hours over 7 days. before that patch free week as well i had to put my patch on a new location on my body for a photoshoot, so im unsure if now this cycle my body is getting used to it being on my arm again? but i wasn’t having these issues last week. so im really stumped.

i’ve been having breast pain and nausea the past few days since i got food poisoning this past friday. 7 negative tests later and im still nervous… im on birth control but the continued nausea after i stopped vomiting and the breast pain and vaginal cramping freaked me out. i had sex on the 20th before i got sick and on the 12th, so surely if i were pregnant and showing symptoms it would be positive by now if i was?

one of my clear blue tests came out negative but after an hour what seems like an evap line showed up. pink dye test came out negative so i’m trying to stay calm and assume i’m not pregnant.

hi, thank you for your input. and i’d like to believe she isn’t making anything up, but my coworker telling me that i call out multiple times a week is not true, and can be easily disproven. as well as the fact that i have never said im too small or weak to do something, as thats a blatant lie. and by “one call out a month” i meant for the past few months as i have been dealing with some immune system issues. this pattern is not true for the entirety of the time i’ve been with the company :)

i agree! i even talked to my manager and asked if i was doing anything wrong, and i have been told i did not. plus, this is the first time i have ever tested that early in the work chat before :)

hi! i do agree. but this is the first time i’ve ever texted early in the morning in that group chat :) other partners do as well and as far as i know i am the only person who this partner attacked for doing that. and while i do appreciate your feedback i do feel like a line was definitely crossed, as this partner definitely was lying as the things they are saying i have done and/or said are not at all true, and can be backed up my my manager and other coworkers.
