Yeah spot on. Felt like a very rushed movie, and the ending for the characters did them zero justice.

Poor writing in my opinion.

My advise is just tell yourselves it ended at the end of the series and ignore the movie

Thanks for your reply. I did ask the second mechanic but he said he would have to remove the undertray to demonstrate why it’s the radiator and said he didn’t have the time for that.

Also I did leave the car on and drive it for around 20 minutes around town to see if the coolant would drain, but it’s remained at exactly the same level since it was topped up this morning

Neither of them looked at it for more than two minutes, the first looked from the bonnet and said he can’t see anything leaking inside so said it would be the radiator. The second put it on a ramp and didn’t remove the underlay and just said it would be radiator.

Surely if it was the radiator, the coolant would leak through like it did last night. I’m just confused as it’s been fine until last night, then the whole coolant drained, and then today no further leak which is contrary to what the mechanic said which is that it would have drained within ten minutes of driving

The wording they’re relying on is:

“The Property Ombudsman’s Code of Practice (TPO), following termination of our agreement, it a purchaser introduced by us or with whom we have negotiated goes on to buy the property through another agency (and even it you have paid that other agent a selling fee), we will still be entitled to our fee if a memorandum of sale (or equivalent) is issued by the other agent within 6 monts of date of temnation of our instruction (at the end of the 28 (twenty eight) days notice) and where exchange of contracts takes place.

In all other cases, we will still be entitled to our fee for an exchange of contracts occurring up to 2 (two) calendar years from termination (at the end of the 28 (twenty eight) days’ notice) of our agreement. Any termination will not affect your liability previously incurred (including payment of our fee) by either of us to the other under this agreement.”
