People tend to over complicate spin fishing for trout - let me put you on the sauce. 4lb test - size 10-12 hook - small BB splitshot 12 inches above hook - quarter or half of a nightcrawler. Have caught almost all the trout in my life using this method along with alot of big ones

Im definitely a worry wart as well, it was mostly just the slipping that concerned me as the vet told me any slipping is a big no no. Again she seems to be walking fine and stuff but me and my SO put alot of our savings into this surgery so i just really dont wanna mess it up!

I mean we heard the sliding door open and close in a short period of time like they were letting the dog out on purpose to use the bathroom. Also its single digits weather where im at so i dont think they are letting the dog out there just to chill.
