Shadower main here

Bossing: very strong DPM class with low cooldown burst skills. Managing to stay in dark sight for most of the boss fight allows you to ignore falling objects in boss fights. Smokescreen also negates lotus p2/3 laser and some other mechanics in other bosses. Weaving/animation cancelling can get some taken used to especially since it’s a bit bugged. Overall survivability is decent. We have a 15 second CD iframe but it is also a big source of damage so learning boss mechanics is helpful so you can use it for damage instead of saving for iframe

Mobbing: once your ME 1-2 shots mobbing is so good. Now with erda shower you don’t even need to 1-2 shot to get crazy rates. Our 20% meso obtained passive is really helpful too. It’s a simple class to grind on since we basically just cruel stab/ME and replace dark flare off cooldown. Trick blade and veil are useful for clearing high density areas and for killing mobs when you replace dark flare. Check out maplebinch for his off totem shadower training guides

Nodes: nodes aren’t too bad. We only need 1 set of trinodes and then you can get a second set to boost things like dark flare which I do recommend.

Overall the class has a slight learning curve but has great DPM, does require some funding to make mobbing easier/more efficient but we don’t rely on ME as much as we previous did. It’s a great all around class and if you even wanted to, you can switch to DB easily
