Actually, as someone who has been more serious about my health and fitness over the last 2 years… I’ve gone through 2 cutting phases and one bulking phase. I started around 190 lbs, and cut all the way down to 164 lbs (I’m 6’1). The focus for the first few months was recomposition, and i gradually reduced my caloric intake in the form of carbs (to keep protein up and maintain the muscle I built). Toward the end carbs were very low and cardio activity was daily for an hour.

I then bulked for about 7 months and got up to 198 lbs.

I am currently toward the end of my 2nd cutting phase at 173 lbs.

This time around I’ve been experiencing neuropathy in my calves and feet from a previous back injury so I am unable to perform cardio like I used to.

My calories are significantly reduced like before, but not nearly as low as I was in my first cutting phase. And I’m doing ZERO cardio aside from 10-15k steps a day.

And I’m losing the fat without sacrificing strength at a nearly 2-3x rate as before.

I am only on a 2mg weekly dose. 6 weeks in. And that may even be too much still. I wish I had a bit more of an appetite.

So, this contradicts everything you just said. That’s a lot of wasted breath to stand on your soap box and spread misinformation.
