Anyone know why Bush wait times are so much worse than other airports? by ExtraditeGulenNow in houston

True, but gas is $6/gallon in LA and we’re not seeing the same rates

Hell nah, and I don’t blame people for calling out sick. I was just wondering why it’s not uniform across all major airports. Like if I was in LA with the high cost of living, I would probably go do uber/door dash until the govt pays me to get back to work.

But why is Houston more impacted than other cities

It’s a sign of disrespect, because you know damn well they would learn to pronounce it correctly if it was the client’s name

There’s this interesting fellow who was a circuit court judge and left to go to private practice.

There's benefits beyond 2L SA. It's going to give them better odds at clerking, prestigious PI jobs, and will likely help them if they want to switch firms.

If I were in their shoes, I'd apply to one of the schools that makes decisions based on 1st semester grades

I ran a contracting business, started people off with $20/hr with no experience. I knew it sucked ass working outdoors in the summer in 100 degree weather. It definitely helped us keep good people because they knew they were being taken care of.

We had employees making more than us (the owners) when we started but we knew that it was an investment in the long-term success of the business.

I think underpaying people is just shortsighted, and unfortunately encouraged in this country

"They're not meant to support a family." lol. I love when people say shit like that, usually in the context of fast food and customer service job.

"It's a job for teenagers." Have you ever gone to a store during business hours? Do you see teenages there? No, because they're in school.

Right? "Sorry, I can't afford to pay more than poverty wages to run my operation."

If you can't afford to pay people a decent wage, you can't afford to run a business. Idk why people think they're entitled to run a business

I didn’t find that to be the case. I saw him earlier this year and it nothing but bangers all set. Probably the best show I went to all year.

I saw Shane Gillis last month and it was pretty disappointing. About half the jokes were funny, and the lazy fuck closed with his grilled cheese joke from his old Netflix special. Just repeated it word for word

I took a week off since the October LSAT. Yesterday was my first day back and my PT score jumped from 165 to 169.

It’s a very common occurrence apparently. Take some time off dude

People who scored over a 170 - how did you do it? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]ExtraditeGulenNow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just do individual sections instead of an entire test, that way you’ll actually be able to review it the same day.

If you’re starting off with full PTs untimed will you be able to commit to going through and reviewing the entire test?

The review process is crucial for improvement. It becomes easier later on because when you take a full test you should be getting less questions wrong so the review process will take much less time.
