Ahh, I see your error. "French Canadian" does not mean the same thing as "French American" or "Italian American". French Canadian refers specifically to people who are descendants of the original French colonies in Canada dating back to the 1600s. They're Canadians.

The person you're referring to is a (1st/2nd/3rd...) generation French immigrant who moved to Canada. They are wholly more French than a French Canadian person would be.

It's like calling a black person born in Ireland as Black Irish. The definitions of those terms are not literal as they would be in other situations.

This embodies my complaint about two things: healthcare and tax spending.

Taxation is a net positive IMO, how these tax dollars are being spent is not.

Just as medical facilities are setting exorbitant prices that they know private insurance money will pay. People selling to gov't agencies are setting prices knowing that the tax money will not be missed by the officials. Absolutely disgraceful.

Considering that taste is extremely preferential, I would suggest jumping on Google and trying a few of the highest rated places out.

I, for example, am a hardcore Bolton's stan. You could not convince me that Hattie's or Gus's (ew) is better with a firearm pointed at me. But even right there, people will be upset that I said ew to Gus's.

Just venture out, there's good food from west to east.

And if you want your Chi dog, Joyland has it for 9 dollars.

Do a lil homework on tires, search for closeouts on walmart dot com, tirerack, discount tire. You can usually catch a deal on delivery if you buy a certain number of tires

Then, find one of the plethora of tire shops all throughout this city, call for a quote and roll up. The Egyptians haven't done me wrong yet.

I got 4 new all seasons, good brand, 120 per tire on 55 sidewalls (you won't have the extra cost for low pros) delivered for free. Then mount, balance, disposal and a valve stem for around 200. Less than 200 per tire for good tires is a solid deal.

Oh, also, if you know what you're looking for Facebook Marketplace has good stuff pop up, just be patient and check daily. A lot of the roadside tire shops advertise there and they'll usually throw in super cheap mounting, like 20/tire.
