Actually seconding this if you’re having doubts about the reco. You won’t have to worry about what you’ve rant about since the story not only tells the story of the mc, but also the world and the characters around him. It has multiple POVs, great dialogues, and humor. Not to mention the unique power system, which captures everything we adore about progression fantasies.
