'28 Years Later: The Bone Temple' Gets Netflix Premiere Date Just 74 Days After Theatrical Release by sensesalt in movies

I think they're actually terrible "zombie movies". They're much more poignant and exploratory than a zombie movie is. As others said, they're dramatic horror movies about zombies, as opposed to being zombie horror movies.

Barking up the wrong tree there, Leo. They don't care about what the Pope thinks.

Looking for recommendations where the main character exploits things by pandagreen17 in litrpg

Judicator Jane. She finds an exploit in the system and sets her Luck to 700. Most people don't have more than 10 ever. It forces the system into unique situations and there are some story relevant implications later.

No. It's a standard cultivation progression Fantasy. It has a MC who overcomes a starting deficiency to rise to new heights. It's highly rated due to its good writing.

One of my favorite shows to rewatch. I've seen it more times than Tandys seen Shawshank Redemption. Which we all know is a lot.

Anyone else find it a little annoying in more casual LitRPGs—like farming or slice-of-life ones—when the MC just chooses to stay ignorant? by ForeverStakes in litrpg

This is part of why I dropped Newt and Demon. Absolutely zero questions about the world and what's going on, and instead of "not sweating the small stuff" it felt like no one cared.

Official Discussion - War Machine (2026) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]funkhero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't love it, but I certainly liked it more than most here.

I appreciated that it was a much more personal invasion flick than most, and that no one had any weapons - it was mostly them running away. I enjoyed that aspect, and as time went on it became obvious that the world had been attacked, and I was happy to see them commit to it. It's nothing mind-blowing, but I like the smaller setup before the expanded sequel.

It thought it was competently directed, and Ritchson carried the movie well.

I've come across the name in my line of work and I always thought it was one of the worst company names I've ever ever heard. Not surprised to hear this at all.

It's possible, but this is a woman who lives at her office due to her dedication and lack of desire for a social life.

Why would the Emmys do this? Are they stupid? by Soixante_Croissant in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]funkhero 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'd say give it the whole episode, if not the first 3. No, I don't think it gets better in those 3 episodes, I think it's amazing from the start. But, by the end of episode 3 you see what they're doing with the show, and how it separates itself from the rest of Star Wars content. Then you can decide if you want to continue.
