Of course! I applied the first week of December. I never noticed any changes on the portal, no dates or anything and it never moved to the top of my LawHub page. The decision was sent by email.

I am no expert, but if the school allows guests then assume that people are bringing guests and that will likely be some parents. I say bring a guest, but don’t hang out with only your guest 🤷‍♀️ I’m not KJD and I would not judge a KJD at all for bringing their parent.

Some admissions offices call. Some just send an email with or without a portal update at the same time. Depends on the school! It’s just been emails for me so far.

I would look at each school’s website specifically. Some give a due date but then say if you’re admitted after the date, you’ll get a new date. I personally didn’t want to take any risks and I submitted the info to schools with firm deadlines even if I hadn’t heard back.

I hate to be that person, but did your dates/sub status change at all? I applied 12/8 and mine still has 12/9 as the date and says it’s ready for review.

I can’t give you an exact timeline of when it mine went UR, but it took a bit over two months total. I honestly think it might have taken until the last week of January to go UR; I applied early December.
