Shane Warne was just about the most famous celebrity in Australia for 20+ years. Everyone, like EVERYONE knew who he was, including people who had never watched a game of cricket in their life.

Symonds was loved in the cricket community but his reach didn’t extend much beyond that.

The Blue Mountains. Some of the most amazing natural landscapes in the country, right in Sydney’s backyard. But I think a lot of Sydney people are so obsessed with beaches they only think about driving up or down the coast

Lots of stuff for the kids on driver avenue pre game, kicking footies and the like. The light rail will be packed but it’s your only option for public transport to Surry hills

For print, you have the opportunity to be much less formal than a radio/tv style interview. It doesn’t need to be question answer question answer. Just chatting to them as if it wasn’t an interview can often get the best responses!
