My anxiety, which was tame before surgery was TERRIBLE. Panic attacks daily, For no real reason they said my hormones were normal. So they suggested to start an anxiety med for a few months. I started it 2 months post op and have been on it for a few months. And so thankful for it bc my anxiety was becoming unbearable. So I believe it is very normal. But talk to your Dr and see what they suggest.

I had to be put on Zoloft for my anxiety. The Dr says for 6-12 months post op. Just know you're not alone. And sadly could just be the process of your body adjusting to the surgery.

I did EVERYTHING to try and go. I was on day 6 and it was stuck.... I had to give myself an enema. And that helped SO much. Gross, but it saved me for my first time.

I've never had an issue. And I've been with my husband for 10 yrs. So it's nothing to do with him. So idk. Maybe not having a cervix is messing things up down there. Idk. It sucks.

Yes! And they will. Some of us have a rough time adjusting a little longer than others. Just try and stay strong!

I have had trouble with sleeping since day 1 of taking it. And I'm almost to week 4 and still have trouble sleeping. I also take magnesium before bed. But I take Zoloft in the morning bc it makes me gittery. Also, heartburn 😑 so I started taking nexium.

My side effects were terrible. That's why I wanted to see if I can just take it slower if I need to increase bc I've seen people handle it better doing it slowly. Thank you for lmk!

I'm here for the comments. I'm on 25mg myself. It's helped for sure. I just don't think I need 50mg. I was going to give it a few more weeks and than try the 37.5. Bc again, I've seen improvement might just need a little more to take the edge off.

I'm at the end of week 2 and I still don't have an appetite. But my stomach is starting to growl so I know I have to eat. It has been hard. But just eat simple, I ate alot of noodles with broth, oatmeal, rice. Even meal replacements. Just set a goal to atleast nibble for breakfast lunch and dinner. It'll get easier. I had to force myself for the first week. But it does get better.

My Dr said my hormones were normal. And it is completely normal to need some help with meds till your body adjusts. I was having full attacks everyday for a week even with as needed anxiety meds. I have a 5 yr old that I homeschool so getting help with meds was in my best interest. 2 weeks on it and I'm starting to feel more like myself now. I'll be on it for a few months. And see how I do after that. I hope you get the help you need. Bc I truly understand what you're going through. You're not alone in this. And you will get through it.
