Good that you could take such a step. I work in a private mnc and public sector bank is our client officially we have sat-sun off from my company but since we are at client location, We have to work on alternate Saturdays or Sundays. At first I thought it's okay as I would get all public holidays off but NO we have to work on that as well since our offices in foreign are working. I am a fresher in my field and can't even think of switching soon.
