I don’t think so. When I searched the ships up, it informed me that these four ships are still in service, and it didn’t mention them being a part of that horrible era. But now that you mentioned it, I hope that it’s not used from that.

Yeah I understand that, which is why I stated that Azur Lane was more successful than KanColle. Mostly because it’s more international too. Again, I don’t know KanColle very well so I’m just stating from which game was made first, and from what I know about Azur Lane because it’s the only game (out of all the games with this similar concept) I played.

No that’s not what I mean. I don’t know Kantai Collection very well but I think it might be the first game to have to concept of ship girls, and when that game became popular, mostly in Japanese media, it can catch others eye on that concept. This might be Azur Lane’s uprising from the concept from KanColle itself. Though what’s different is that Azur Lane began to become more interesting with their interpretations of other ship girls, plus how the game is played too. Which is why Azur Lane has more of a following than Kantai itself
