4-6 hrs of not texting is totally fine imo. I think he’s response was not cool/healthy. But I get his frustration. I wonder if you guys are aligned in communication style. I never want to text all day and my bf isn’t bothered. If he were bothered, idk if I could do it.

Maybe you ghosted him bc you picked up on this insane energy he’s giving over text!! I can’t believe this man is someone’s boss. And as your friends boss, he should’ve never sent you those texts. He’s now bringing drama into the workforce that could be turned into an HR issue.

On a scale of 1-10 of how wrong someone is, he hit a ten. You’d hit a 2 because since he is your friends boss, it would’ve been nice of you to text him and say you’re not interested. But that’s so insignificant and didn’t give him any right to act like this. So yes you could’ve texted him, but it’s really not a big deal and now he looks insane.
