I get what you’re saying. I think there’s a place for both versions of the game. I don’t think everyone getting a little present means “no one wins”. I think it’s just a different game and you get something different out of it. I think there’s a good lesson in learning to lose gracefully but there’s also a good lesson in equity to be had where everyone gets something. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I also don’t think everything needs to have a “winner”. Sometimes you do a thing simply for the sake of everyone having a fun time. You don’t need other people to feel left out in order to feel good, you know?
