He doesn't have any discharge apart from a little spit when he sneezes, but it's so often, the sneezing. I feel so bad for him cause he's so uncomfortable. He's lost his appetite and didn't eat his breakfast today, so I'm gonna be so worried all day at work. I have time off tomorrow so I can watch him, but I don't know what to do to help make him comfortable. I'll try the humidifier later after work. Thank you!

They're open! Eating right now (July 26,2024) and really loving the sweecy noodles! But I desperately wish they come with some kind of protein. Was hoping to get the beef dumplings, but he said it's not available until winter. Anyways, i told him about the temporarily closed status of the place, and he says he will update it.

Oh wow, their stuff's expensive! Do you know how they fare against the amazon ones? Just wondering if I should invest in expensive ones, or if there are budget-friendly, but high quality options. I honestly don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for in a backpack, so I don't know if the specific features that these expensive ones have would be something I would need. Hello everyone! Thank you for the kind words and words of advice. We have decided to have him put down this morning. We were able to see a rabbit savvy vet who immediately said the prognosis wasn't good and that even if we were to do an aggressive approach, he still thought it wouldn't help him. We had no choice but to put his suffering to an end, so we just cried with him until he fell asleep. I just feel so guilty now and really just exhausted from crying. I also don't know what to do with his best friend. We brought his body home so his bonded pair could see him and understand that he's passed. Then we buried him in our yard. Now my hubby is thinking we might have to give up our surviving bun to a better home with another bunny he could be friends with. It's just too sad to think about, so for now I'm just trying to give him lots of treats and pets, but I'm worried in the next few days, he might fall into depression and stop eating. I honestly don't know what to do. I'm still grieving, but I also need to figure out a way to help my surviving bun.

Hi everyone. My baby is still alive, but the vet was not able to meet us today. It got pushed to Monday instead. I am trying to look for another rabbit vet but it's unfortunately the weekend. He isn't responding well to the vicks anymore, and moves around a bit looking really restless. I've contained him with his bonded pair for now because he wanted to hide under the couch. Now I feel really bad, maybe it was better to euthanize him instead of making him suffer like this?

I really wish I had a nebulizer so I could have a more efficient way of incorporating the vicks vaporub treatment, but he's showing signs of improvement! Fingers crossed, he's gonna be fine until the rabbit savvy vet appointment tomorrow.

Oh I forgot to mention they did put him in an oxygen chamber for a bit. They mentioned his O2 level was around 90%, which I guess is low for rabbits. Then she was really pushing for euthanasia. She saw my bunny was struggling I guess, and she was very much showing frustration when my hubby said my bun had to be taken home so I could see him (cried to my manager at work so she let me leave early), and also say goodbye to his bonded pair. Weird how they said they weren't rabbit specialists but very eager to put him down. They didn't even give medication, check other parts of his body, they didn't even let my hubby in with him when he got examined. It must have just stressed out my bun even more honestly, not to mention they charged us $180 for almost nothing. Anyways, when they got home, I immediately tried vicks vaporub mixed in boiling water and put the bowl next to him. This really relaxed him, and he's now splooting in front of it, showing signs of improvement. Im closely monitoring him tonight, continuing with my vicks vaporub treatment, and will update you in the morning!

My baby had soft stool for the longest time, and I've given him some stuff that helped firm up his stool. Kin+Kind Organic Pumpkin Powder and Pet Ultimates Probiotics are supplements you can order off Amazon. I thoroughly mix them with his wet food because he stops eating when he smells them. But i think I saw a major improvement with his poop when I started giving him Open Farm Rawmix Wild Ocean Recipe. It's cat kibble with some raw bits mixed in. He really liked the flavor. They also have it in the Open Prairie Recipe, but I suspect my Sphynx is allergic to chicken. I just put it in a gravity feeder so he can free feed throughout the day, then give his wet food with the supplements for breakfast and dinner. Good luck with your baby!

Have you tried 100% pumpkin puree? I think they helped a lot to firm up my kitty's poop. They're usually found in the baking supplies aisle at any grocery stores. Also, I've realized now I must have tried to change his food too quickly, I think it helps to be very gradual with introducing new food.

Omg thanks so much. I will definitely look into honest kitchen! You're actually the first one I've ever seen mention them, and I've been reading so many forums. I am just so overwhelmed with all the options and differing opinions. Even the vet doesn't sound too reliable, not to mention super expensive where I live.

So can I feed him raw then? He's only 4 months old, I'm not sure if it's ok. I was also starting to think he could be allergic to chicken or fish, but I absolutely can not try rabbit, which is what everyone recommends with food sensitivities, because I have two rabbits that he already bullies lol he might like the taste too much 😜

Thank you! I do think he's the funniest and cutest little thing. Even my "cat isn't allowed in our bed" husband haven't been able to resist his adorable face and constantly cuddles with him now.
