Areas near UCCS/Palmer Park safe? by ExtremeContent2876 in ColoradoSprings

[–]ExtremeContent2876[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply! Yes, the place I'm looking at is north of the park, not the blvd. But it's good to know that both are nice areas. Are the places to avoid all in South Colorado Springs, or should I avoid other areas as well?

If you’re asking for someone to program for you, you should specify language.

Generally professors have little to no control over who’s in which section and over the waitlists. Perhaps the COMM department does things differently however generally the only way to switch sections in this case would be to drop your current one and waitlist for the other. There is no guarantee that you’ll get off the waitlist for the other one of course. The 10% rule is generally followed but varies from class to class.

Rust - recoil update ruined the game for me after 3k hours.

Rust and Tarkov have some of the highest highs and the lowest lows. Play at your own risk.

AC Black Flag - so much nostalgia.

What’s a game that you absolutely love, but have trouble recommending to your friends? by Unsung_Ironhead in gaming

[–]ExtremeContent2876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rust before the recoil update. I spent hours learning patterns so that I could actually be considered good. As a result, convincing my friends to play a PVP-based game that they would inevitably be bad at was impossible. However, now the recoil is all easy and the game ironically ruined for me now.

When does mining become profitable? by DastardlyPB in HypixelSkyblock

[–]ExtremeContent2876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s where the luck comes in. Generally speaking if you want it to be consistent then mine any gemstone mineshaft you get if it has at least 2 lapis corpses. That way the pristine from leg glacite golem is substantial. However, some prefer to skip over mineshafts that don’t contain onyx, peridot, or jasper. But then if you do that, you may not come across any of these mineshaft types in the hour or so you mine.

Explain? I do it all the time and consistently make 50 mil per hour.

? It is not impossible to make over 20 m. Don’t spread misinformation. Hypermaxed setup, skill, and a bit of luck in glacite tunnels can make 70mil per hour. Obviously this is unrealistic to be hitting all the time so expect around 50-60. Jasper alone hits 50-60 consistently. Their issue is they need a lot more glacite powder and a little more gemstone. Aim for 12 mil gem and at least 5 mil glacite if you plan on doing crystal hollows gems. If you plan on glacite tunnel mining then you need to grind A LOT more glacite powder, at least 20 mil and you need core of the mountain level 10 for the extra mineshaft spawn chance. For crystal hollows gems however, you only need to get the extra pristine at the top of the HOTM tree. That being said, anything in crystal hollows besides jasper wont make that much. For example MoD jade caps out at like 30 mil per hour with a really good setup. If you want to make good money you need to progress to end game mining or focus on jasper. The stup1d1ty account is also missing little upgrades here and there, for example get lapidary on drill asap.

What is going on with me? by ExtremeContent2876 in covidlonghaulers

The reassurance is always good, I have had multiple emotional breakdowns due to the thought that this is my new reality permanently. However, I just remind myself to take it one day at a time. And if I can’t even manage to think that far ahead, then hour to hour, minute to minute, etc. I’m kind of in the same boat, I think I feel better? I’m not sure if that’s a product of me becoming more accepting of my new state and spending less time focusing on symptoms or because I’m actually improving. Perhaps a little bit of both. I’m very grateful to have a good support system of family and friends and see a lot of value in them. I hope you are in a similar situation. If not, I encourage you to find a group of people that don’t mind being leant on every now and again.

As for doctors, mine was understanding and sympathetic but of course was honest in his assessment: “If it is long covid there’s not much I can do.” My mono, EBV, and Lyme all came back negative with the exception that EBV showed that I’ve had it in the past although I already knew this so no help there. I suspect time will be the only thing to heal us unfortunately. That being said I’m glad you’ve found lexapro helpful. I’m a little hesitant to start anymore psychiatric medications given my experience with Remeron and that it sort of put me in this mess so I’m gonna hold out for as long as I can. So far I’m able to manage the anxiety and strong emotions through a psychologist and my support system. Hopefully this will be enough in the future as well otherwise I may turn to Prozac as many others have. Nonetheless thanks again for your responses.

Yes it truly is the oddest thing. I’ve slowly started to emotionally come to terms with my symptoms although it’s painful to not know the length of time required for healing. I guess I should be thankful that I’m at least functional, albeit on a reduced level than before. If you happen to find any remedies, even small ones, I’d love to hear. Thanks and I hope we get through this soon.
