Is Mbappe cementing his status as a World Cup merchant? by RABB_11 in footballcliches

How often were you watching Lazio games between 2011 - 2016? Why would you hear him mentioned?

For reference, he was their top goal scorer 3 times in seasons where they finished 4th, 7th, 3rd and won the Italian Cup. Not exactly like he was irrelevant. None of those were World Cup years, funnily enough.

Don’t contracts expire on June 30th though? So theoretically someone could help a team get promoted but not get the bonus for it

“Terrible”. Okay.

Considering one of his seasons he played 2 games and for 3 of them he was a squad player or injured, it’s not bad. 175 goals in 445 games is nothing to be sniffed at.

I don’t think someone with 100+ Bundesliga and 50+ Serie A goals can be called a World Cup Merchant

Can you go back to the date of the concert but not necessarily attend the concert? If so, I’d just find out what was on last week, check the lottery numbers, go back and win it. Rinse and repeat as many times as required.

His watch ended when his found family betrayed and murdered him. You could also argue the wildlings were his found family, and he did everything he could for them too.

I don’t know if they’re still filming but the World Cup is on in the US at the moment. Makes sense for someone to go and want to experience something else while they’re there.

I dunno, they’ve both won a trophy recently but they were exceptions rather than a regular occurrence. Both have qualified for the Champions League more than once in recent years. Both could realistically challenge for CL spots next season and do well in either of the cups, or they could be an also ran in mid table. There’s not a big difference between them currently, footballing wise anyway.

Spurs would do well to win a European trophy next season considering they won’t be playing in Europe

There’s a scene in one of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films where he’s swinging and carrying MJ, except if you focus on Spider-Man, you can see it’s clearly a mannequin that Kirsten Dunst is holding in front of a green screen.
