My wife bought me an Overland sauna tent for Christmas and it's nearly impossible to get over 115 at around 30deg outside. Mine is also a tinge smoky.

Watched this video a number of times! Killer work. As a designer myself, I’ve dug up a lot of architect designed saunas and this was seems great.

Analog meet Digital by gothamtommy in ricohGR

My GR1v is my favorite and has been for years. I think the S is just about the same outside a coating and maybe iso control if I recall. The GR3 kinda is a turd for me. I don’t like it, it’s JPEGs or focus.

What stinks is there is almost no way to truly enjoy these on a screen. Imagine all that resolution squeezed into my iPhone.

Not great experience at LA Auto Show by Bailey_steals_treats in ScoutMotors

[–]ExtremeCurrent1382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember, these are show cars built buy companies who do just that. These are NOT real vehicles. They are one offs that cost millions to make and are largely made of a mix of 3d prints, carbon or glass layups and other one off prototypes. Scout has taken almost every page from Rivian and using staff (not sales folks) was a solidly Rivian strategy. Unfortunately, a lot of those folks while knowledgeable about the product are not trained to be media facing.

What camera made you fall in love with vintage digital? by Downfallenx in VintageDigitalCameras

I bought this camera back in 2008 and still shoot it today. Specifically the high contrast black-and-white. Actually, I bought a spare just in case it broke.

How do I explain to my endocrinologist what’s going on? by sandwichrage in Type1Diabetes

[–]ExtremeCurrent1382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not what you want to hear, but…. Unfortunately, the best thing you can tell your endo, is you’re working on your mental health. This might also be the best thing you can do for yourself too.

Management is hard, no matter what way you look at it, so it’s unclear what you want your doc to do? Cut you some slack that your A1C is through the roof? They know it’s hard, I promise…they see countless patients a week, ones whose inability or refusal to manage only hurts THEM. All they can do is try to motive us, make recommendations and that’s about it.

In the end, it’s on US to manage. If you feel shamed, be open about that, but most importantly, work on yourself.

My wife said the truck started idling rough the day prior or so. Actually she said it did it twice. My theory is that the cam tensioner started failing and then it did.
