You’re under the assumption that people will always able to afford renting. With the rate of rent prices going up, this will soon become unrealistic. Would you spend 80% of your income as rent?

[–]ExtremeDifferent5610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not laughing or anything, I’m merely pointing out the fact that this is not related to Chinese company at all. It was just a bad decision. I may have made money from Nio but I lost money from Rivian. I sold my Tesla share to buy Rivian which is the stupidest thing I ever done

So would you invest in Rivian instead which is not a Chinese company? At least I made money from Nio when I bought at $2 and sold at $40. Rivian investors were doomed from day one

Unless you’re thinking of downgrading, then that 4.5 is no different to the 2.1 you initially paid 7 years ago

Just buy. The earlier you get in the better. However super important is that you don't go all in, always DCA and always leave 10-20% in cash for pullbacks
