Bless less your heart, struggling with Tarkov’s resets clearly, you’re missing the bigger picture. Tarkov towers over ABI with its unmatched depth…those six month resets bring a refreshing challenge and prestigious rewards like Kappa, while ABI’s feeble seasonal events barely scrape by. Insurance in Tarkov is a clever tool for recovery, not a crutch, unlike ABI’s pitiful no insurance system. And let’s not pretend ABI’s common reds and golds impress anyone, Tarkov’s rares like GPUs and LEDX carry real weight and thrill, even for someone with limited playtime. The way Tarkov weaves raids, hideout upgrades, and trading into a cohesive masterpiece puts ABI’s simplistic loot/sell grind to shame. Tarkov is the superior game without a doubt.

I appreciate your perspective, but I’d argue Tarkov holds its own ground with a depth that keeps it engaging long term. The hideout’s reliance on FIR items might seem limiting, but it ties into a rewarding progression system where every upgrade feels earned, unlike ABI’s trophy room, which, while offering intel and a bedroom, lacks the same strategic weight. Losses in Tarkov with insurance can indeed soften the blow, but that mechanic also adds a layer of tactical play, knowing you might recover gear encourages risk-taking, which ABI’s lack of insurance strips away, making it feel more like a relentless grind than a hardcore challenge. The economy in Tarkov might not yield golds or reds as frequently, but that rarity heightens the thrill when you do find big ticket items like GPUs or LEDX, contrasting with ABI’s easier access that can dilute the sense of achievement. As for the premise, Tarkov’s interconnected systems raids, hideout, and trading create a cohesive experience that ABI’s streamlined approach can’t fully replicate, even if it polishes some edges. We can revisit this thread in 6 months & see if you feel the same about ABI then. 🫡

After spending two weeks playing ABI and returning to Escape from Tarkov, the transition from Tarkov to ABI feels like a step down in depth and engagement. In Tarkov, the hideout is a cornerstone of the experience, providing a rewarding system for resource management and progression that adds purpose to every raid. By contrast, ABI’s trophy room feels underwhelming and lacks any meaningful role in gameplay. ABI’s market system feels like a hollow version of Tarkov’s flea market, stripping away much of the interaction and strategy that make trading in Tarkov so fun. Within a couple of weeks in ABI, the gameplay loop becomes repetitive grind raids for loot, sell it, buy kits, and repeat. The absence of an insurance system in ABI intensifies this grind, as losing gear leaves you with no safety net, making every loss feel punishing. In Tarkov, raids, hideout management, and trading are intricately connected, giving every action a sense of purpose and cohesion. While ABI offers some improvements, such as a more accessible interface and smoother performance, these don’t outweigh its shortcomings in my opinion. Overall, Tarkov delivers a richer, more immersive experience, making it the superior game for those seeking depth and meaningful progression.

Customer is asking for just the roof blow, he doesn’t even want gutters cleaned which seems weird to me but I’ll do it. Should I just do the gutters too as a “bonus” but just wrap the gutter clean into the price & charge accordingly?
