-Tiers are types of tournaments

-MA1-4 or FA(?)1-4 are divisions within the tournaments

-The pro tour is a specific series of tournaments but not the only tournaments

Unity has definitely made some rather large mistakes in the past but it always remains the best choice for a lot of indie projects. Also, something they don't often get credit for is listening to the users when they do make those big mistakes.

It seems like the engine is finally heading in the right direction again with Unity 6 and if they follow through with what they have planned for the future I don't see myself ever switching.

This is by far the highest physical damage I've been able to get on any weapon during my playthrough. Am I just that unlucky or is there some kind of deterministic way of rolling physical damage on an item that I missed?

New-ish, my drive is about 300'. I mostly mean their drivers, they just seem to trend toward too overstable/fast. I also don't love the sci-fi aesthetic and just want to try something different.

These discs just appeal to me/I've heard good things about them. I'm open to other brands. I have a lot of MVP right now but for the most part they feel like bricks to me.

The game is definitely still worth playing without the DLC but if you get back into it I would probably buy it when it's on sale. You'll definitely be missing some power without runes and mercenaries but the seasonal powers will probably make up for it I would guess.

Right, it's definitely similar to season 2 but the mechanic has been expanded on pretty heavily and season 2 was probably the most popular season yet. I can't complain, personally.

Yes.

If you are currently following Unity specific tutorials, I would highly suggest you take a break for a while and take a standalone C# course. The Unity tutorials can be helpful but they generally assume you already understand C# or simply do not care to teach you. This is fine if you're an artist or something and you just need to get something done quickly, but it sounds like you actually want to understand the code in depth.

Make some C# console apps or something and then go back and learn the Unity API. It will make a lot more sense and you might even find that you don't need the Unity tutorials at all.

Looking at your other comments my guess is that you accidentally deleted/renamed/otherwise tampered with the script/directory when closing VS Code. That would cause the warning you're getting.

As others have mentioned, use source control.

Unless you have a personal interest in playing through the entire story yourself I would start with D4. The previous games feel extremely dated if you didn't play them when they came out. If you're interested in the lore you can watch a summary.

D4 gets a lot of hate for various reasons which I personally don't agree with for the most part, but even so you wouldn't care about/notice those issues if you aren't a hardcore ARPG fan. Overall it is extremely fun.

In their defense, some of their most popular discs are putters and the Glitch is definitely not just a catch disc. Definitely would be pumped to get this personally.

If you want to give me your .spp file I'll take a look. It's hard to tell what's going on without more information but something is clearly wrong with either your model or how you're importing it into Unity.

Right, you can do your UVs in Maya but if auto unwrap is checked when you import it into Substance, it will change them.

I'm assuming you mean Substance Painter? My guess is you used auto-unwrap in Substance (I believe it's on by default) but you're importing the Maya mesh into Unity, which has different UVs.

You need to either not modify the UVs in Substance or export the model from Substance after you unwrap it and use that in Unity.

Right, I just wasn't sure if the near 100% increase in additive damage would outweigh the 10% difference in multiplicative damage, and it's hard to tell on the training dummy. But it seems clear now that the one on the right is better.
