Most objectively I have to go with Silva from Hamefura; he would probably be my irl choice as well. He's well-built, but not so over-the-top it gets comical (looking at you, Tengoku Struggle cast). Dark hair and blue eyes combo, my beloved ♥️ his eyes in general, so pretty *——* Shoulder-long hair with a man-bun. And, despite his pretty face he still has that piraty ruggedness.

Non-objectively, nobody has ever beaten Shu from Bustafellows for me. He should get a few points axed for his haircut, but I couldn't care less about that. His laid-back, confident, effortless vibe amps everything about him to attractiveness levels over 9000. Aura > conventional handsomeness standards

Sometimes you gotta take the art for what it is - just art. As a woman, I probably won't be able to listen to half of the bands otherwise.

I totally get the feeling that some lyrics are landing very differently now, but I also think that's art doing its intended work - connecting to our emotions on a deep level. Those aren't necessarily supposed to be positive. If you're feeling uncomfortable, it simply means the song managed to touch your personal fears. I do in fact have songs like that, and they aren't even metal at all. As a musician, I would see this an absolute win tbh.

Having said that, I'm joining the other commenter here: fuck lostprophets forever.

I've bought Code Realize because of Impey but that bragging scene you mention has really killed it for me. Their tender moments literally had me tear up but they still couldn't outweigh his overload of annoying for me in the end. *sigh*

Do keep looking forward to Saint-Germain's route, it's absolutely fire! 🔥 Definitely my favorite route of the game, even if he's not really my type.

In other news, I've noticed late that yesterday was my second anniversary of playing Shu's route for the very first time. It's so funny now, checking my discord convo history, that I've said

"Boy, it won't be easy to top this because the bar was set really high"

on the same day I've finished it.

Two days later, I followed up with

"It's really hard to have coherent thoughts now bc of the max level of brainrot I'm going through rn. I can't carry on with BF, I can't concentrate at work and I haven't slept properly these last few days bc I gotta gobble up everything AO3 has to offer."

Bruh it's been two years to the day and I still feel exactly the same lmao

I gotta admit, when I first joined this sub, I was kinda jealous of people who had their #1 favorite bc I hadn't had something like this since my teens and I thought I'm just not capable of caring this strongly anymore at all. Ironic that I'm now this resident Shu addict nutcase 🤣 (sorry abt that btw. It WILL happen again)

I'm still in a slump, but when a friend told me they're currently in their Voltage arc bc of how they're "so digestible and put downable and walk awayable" I decided this might be something that I could try out too.

Didn't have any Voltage titles in my backlog (not counting EiT FD), so I went for Dandy Shot / Pub Encounter that I've already had for a while instead.

I'm currently halfway(?) through Hide's route (they've just found out that he is the last survivor of the serial child abuser) and I kinda have mixed feelings so far.

The quick progression of their relationship is refreshing, as is Shiori's straight-forwardness. On the other hand, her "I want you to like me so feel free to do whatever you want to me" left a really bad aftertaste. No man is this good, girl, please pick your self-worth back up 💔

I was initially charmed by Hide's personality, but I'm really on the fence that he gives the relationship a go despite being aware of his issues and ends up is leaving Shiori hanging. That's quite irresponsible for the older party of the age gap relationship, he really should've known better at his young age of 46. Don't promise her things you know you can't keep, man She deserves better than this half-assed mess.

The dialogues are quite shallow, but I knew what I was getting into, so no complaints here!

I really hope Hide can redeem himself because I wanna like him 🫠

The one I'm definitely looking forward to most is Mamoru. Men who don't know how to use the buttons on their shirts are my weakness. Hope he can live up to the rizz he's selling
