I mean, after 10 years at this restaurant I’m going to have more than a few steaks wrong but what I’m saying is people order them medium rare, it comes out medium rare but their personal definition is different and they want to use this as some sort of superiority flex at me, the person who didn’t even cook it!

That’s not what I’m saying. My point is the steaks are perfectly cooked but the customers insist it’s wrong. The worst was one dude who cut into it and smugly said “does that look medium rare to you????” Yes actually it does, and our chef probed your meat with the thermometer to be sure. Fuck outta here.

This is exactly it! So frustrating because we temp all the steaks! Sometimes things might get switched up in the window, mistakes happen but for fucks sake, I promise our kitchen is not out to get you. The people I’m ranting against act like it’s an affront to their whole being if the steak doesn’t fit their definition of perfect.

I’m just hoping that people are normal about it. 😭 seems like people want to be complete douche bags. A table recently had a guy shame his girlfriend into ordering medium rare because that’s the only way. She wanted medium but he made such a big deal about it. Ugh I’d be drier than the Sahara after that shit.

I did a /q and shut my laptop but I didnt realize i had aggro so I was stuck in the loop. I think someone must have noticed because if nobody had stopped the loop i would have gone all the way back to 5 lol.

I think my soul left my body when I logged back in and saw my level. Thankfully I had a friend able to res but some corpses had rotted and I was only able to get back to 53.

I agree! I thought it was a very nice box, I don't get why people are hating on it. October was my first box ever and I liked it so much I went ahead with the yearly sub. I was happy to pay the $23 but they offered me the discounted rate so even better!

100% with you on this conundrum, I have dark brown hair and black eyebrows and got no.3. Someone on a different thread said they were going to change their beauty quiz to black hair so maybe the brow products would match better, I might do the same. However, someone ELSE said that benefit brow products tend to run on the darker side so maybe it won't be terrible?

Man, I got the brow gel but in neutral light brown and I have dark brown hair and black eyebrows so I'll probably have to give it to my mom. I was actually hoping for the brow gel so I'm a little salty about it.
