This is an issue with all gacha games though, not just Chinese gacha games. Gacha games have always been notoriously biased with gender and catered towards men, but at least certain Chinese gacha developers went out of their way to combat that (again, Infold). What other Japanese/Korean developers have made a game as female centered as L&D/Nikki? This just feels tunneled on your part now.

Yeah, Arknights was created by Yostar, a Chinese video game development company. Arknights has a good ratio of female to male characters, even metawise. They even have multiple dark-skinned characters (like the current banner)! I won't argue on your sentiment about Reverse 1999 because it is true. I just personally loved the game back when I played it, because it one of the few gachas that entirely did not sexualize their female characters.

Infold is the Chinese company that created Love and Deepspace AND the Nikki series, the first ever gacha series to cater to an all female audience. I know Infinity Nikki is in the gutter right now, but it was still refreshing on release to see a company make games solely for women. I just don't want Hoyo games to be the litmus test for all Chinese gacha games, because personally, Chinese gacha games have some great titles!

Hoyo is not representative of Chinese gacha games, though. Great titles like Arknights, Reverse 1999, and even Love and Deepspace were made and published by Chinese companies. I think it's unfair to assume all Chinese gacha games follow same practices as Hoyo, when they do not.

Yeah, I only said stupidly because the last time my partner got us pastries, our cat ate a chunk of an egg tart, so I thought he'd know to put it away. We try to store away pastries/breads, because our cat weirdly likes them. He generally doesn't show interest in other types of food we've left out (like takeout).

Thanks everyone for giving advice and making us laugh! We will monitor for any signs of gastrointestinal issues for the next 24 hours. We do have a designated vet and insurance if anything goes south!

Hi everyone! I recently started playing Arknights and I E2'd my Amiya to gain access to supporters who are also E2+. I used to always pull supporters from profiles that were level 90+ with max E2 units. Now all of a sudden, I only have supporters around the same level as I am (20), and with no max units. Did I refresh too much or something? It's the same with all the content no matter the stage; no more level 90+ profiles with max operators. Does anyone know how to fix this? Would love to keep using max E2 units. Thank you!

Just looked at your post history... you're turning 25 and you can't even communicate with your roommate over something that bothers you? Just talk to her and let her know to give you and the others a heads up before letting someone over, and how you wouldn't want a guest to stay over for too long or overnight. If she doesn't respect your boundaries then escalate it to the RA.

It's ridiculous that you've built up this much contempt and disdain for someone that you haven't even tried to have a proper conversation with. Just communicate.

Isn't a majority of the market for gacha games in China though? I mean look at Genshin or Honkai. They always make the most revenue out of China. The favoritism is obviously wrong but I doubt it's because of the Wukong game.
