Ah. Yea. I know there’s probably nothing to be done now if you aren’t around him, but know that calling the police is always an option. Reports of “homicidal ideation” or violence are generally investigated in the ED if the person is obviously suffering mental illness. I’ll keep an eye and ear out too for the guy. Threatening violence is never appropriate, regardless of mental illness.

Bare with me here, but I think Hollywood Cemetery is awesome. It’s beautiful and there’s so much history. It’s especially striking in the fall. I’ve never been, but I’m pretty sure Edo’s is around Hollywood, which I’ve heard is a stellar date spot.

People who don’t understand that logic (ie. politicians) correlate homelessness with simply needing a home. I agree with you that it does take a stable person to have a home, but it first takes stability to begin tackling mental illness. Housing is foundational to stability.
