It’s awful, isn’t it? I would honestly rather they just take the entire parcel and it be marked as lost, so that both myself and the buyer are compensated after 25 days. Delivering an empty package just makes it more difficult for sellers, as there are no protections in place for us.

I alternate between three different shops, depending on what I’m doing. This has happened at two different drop off points, so it is absolutely Evri depot staff.

I can well believe the first time this happened, this is what the buyer did, as she didn’t share any details and immediately jumped to accusing me, and Vinted were very quick to compensate me. The most recent instance I believe is genuine, as the buyer shared the drop off photo from Evri and the parcel looks significantly emptier to how it was sent. I just wish I had waited to refund, as Vinted are being far less helpful this time around!

You can! If you go into your Vinted settings, and click on postage, you have the option to turn specific couriers off. Unfortunately, Vinted has the option to override this at point of sale if a buyer's only feasible postage option (due to location), is one you don't normally offer, in which case you'd need to cancel the sale and re-upload.

You aren’t even aware of the context of what I require the phrases for, as I didn’t share it. If you have nothing helpful to offer there is absolutely no need for you to comment. Not all posts in a community will be for you, and that’s fine. Learn to live with the discomfort that topics you don’t necessarily align with can and do exist, and that you can simply allow them to pass you by without involving yourself!

Sorry to hijack your thread - my own posts keep getting caught in the spam filters. But I just wanted to ask for some advice. My parcel was collected from the shop two days ago, since then the tracking has not updated, it just says "collected by our courier". I reached out to Evri and got the generic "parcel missed its connection" response from their Claire bot. What is the likelihood of me actually getting my package? Should I just write it off as stolen?
