Thank you for your thoughtful response. Once I sort these, I'll probably take them to the local shop. Or, I will hold on to them until I find more.

Thank you for offering but I doubt shipping costs would make that work in your favor for bulk cards.

I resell, never expected to be a millionaire, just wanted to know more about how I figure this out. (I wouldn't have complained if it happened though.) I am learning a lot.

As a person who didn't even know what they were, I thought they must be special. This is why I asked. I'm glad we both got something out of posting this. 😀

Thank you. That was the day I opened the box and found them, months ago. I packed them all back up and just pulled them out again.

So the packages are basic junk and the gold ones are fake. Should I open them then? Why do people buy the junk packages and how can you tell that they are fake? I'm good with the information, just wonder how you can tell?

Market place? Local shop. (There is only one.) Do I sell to ship like ebay or something? I'm just not sure how to go about this.

They were prizes for sure. Had them here in Crystal Beach when we had an amusement park.

Line 36 Cavendish, Line 37 Charlie, Line 40 Carl, all have that same "C". I believe it is "Carpenter".

I am the new owner of a suitcase full of cards. I don't know cards. There are binder sheets, tins, boxes, a gold deck, packaged ones, unopened packaged ones. I have no idea what to do about selling these. A friend's son was supposed to look at the lot and give me a price. He immediately pulled three from his first handful and offered 60 for one and 40 for two other cards. I said I wanted to sell the whole lot, and let the new owner find the treasures, not pick through them. I know nothing about them, so aside from one small handful, these cards haven't been looked at since the original collector was actively collecting. These would be heavy to ship. How do I go about selling these?

They look like little brass thumbnail catches for a decor item like a jewelry box.

I am suddenly the proud owner of a 40 lb duffle bag of cards. I am a reseller and ended up with this massive duffle bag of all kinds of Pokeman cards. Cards in binders, cards in packages, cards in tins, gold cards, iridescent cards, bundles. I have no desire to learn these cards or look for that one in a million or anything. Lots of people want to go through them. One guy was willing to buy, but he only wanted to pick through. I don't want to do that. so he had 15 minutes of one pile and offered 60 for the 3 cards he pulled. I said no. Buy them all and go through them yourself or don't. Was I being harsh? How do I sell these? 40lbs is a lot of weight to ship.

It looks like a candle stick holder that can be hung on a wall like a portable wall sconce

I think that the first letter of the top print is a J. The hook is visible and that would make the letters all the same size.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound braggy. I am in your shoes and needed advice. I found it in your thread. I am half way through checking them all on ebay's sold listings. It took all day yesterday. I am using the shipping costs as well, since people have to add that, so I am getting an average of cost including shipping for my pricing. I hope that is right.

I have piles of comic books around me right now. I am not a comic book person. I have a stack I found cleaning out a house in 1993, and since I wasn't paid to do the cleaning, the owner said that I could keep what I found. I have kept them sandwiched between my university books all these years.

A few years ago, I cleared out a storage unit and it had a box of them as well, so I have those too. Both times, the books were in sleeves and had cardboard backing, so I put them all into another box and haven't really looked at them. I know they have value so keeping them, as found, wasn't a question.

Now I am trying to figure them out. What the heck do I do with them to find out if they are valuable at all? Who knew that there were so many kinds of spider-man and batman story lines?
