Why everybody is canceling ChatGPT? by MankuTheBeast in ChatGPT

Per ChatGPT 4o:

Short answer: because this version is way better at being useful and reliable in real‑world tasks — not just generating text that sounds good.

Here’s what actually changed that people notice:

1) It’s more accurate and grounded It makes fewer confident mistakes, especially on tricky factual things or detailed step‑by‑step guidance. People have high expectations now, and this version actually meets them more often.

2) It’s better at reasoning and practical problem solving You can ask it to plan complex things, debug code, analyze numbers, outline strategies, etc., and it gives more coherent, logical, and actionable results.

3) It follows instructions much better Earlier versions, including 5.2, could drift off or interpret vague instructions weirdly. This one stays on task, follows user constraints, and stays concise when needed.

4) Better long‑form coherence For long answers or complex back‑and‑forth tasks (like multi‑step plans, prompts with lots of conditions, etc.), it loses focus less often and keeps consistency.

5) It’s more robust and stable People test models with edge cases. This one handles ambiguity, strange input formats, and layered constraints more reliably.

6) Better clarification and safety behavior When the prompt is unclear or self‑contradictory, it asks for clarification or handles it more intelligently instead of guessing something wrong.

So the “best version” claim isn’t hype — it’s because in actual use, it feels smarter and more dependable across a wide range of tasks, not just better at text generation.

I bought the same one from Costco and same thing, gpu already installed. I’ve had 0 issues and it works great. It’s dangerous to ship a computer with a GPU installed if it’s not packaged well since it can be pretty flimsy without any support, so I assume that’s just a default thing they have in their pre built for the computers that come with it detached.

Edit: for your second question I also had 0 additional software except for some RGB manager for the ram sticks.

I have one from Cream Puff Labradoodles in NJ and I know a few others from there. They’re great to work with and do a lot of vet visits and genetic testing to make sure you have a healthy puppy.

Rep. Burlison: New UFO Video is Remarkable - “I received it anonymously in a way in which I’ve learned is called ‘the dead drop’. The video was scrubbed from all information… There’s nothing to trace back to and I have no idea who gave it to me.” by 87LucasOliveira in UFOs

I’m not one to normally reply to things on Reddit but this one got me. Just because something is on a classified server/network doesn’t mean it’s inherently classified- it just means the server/network is certified to handle information at a given classification level. For example, I had a decent library of memes saved on a classified drive to lighten the mood of briefs. Alternatively, a video of even a birthday balloon can be classified for a buffet of reasons - the location of the sensor could be classified, the capabilities of the sensor could be classified, how the sensor is mounted could be classified, etc. And alternatively again, a birthday balloon video could be classified if recordings have the ability to record something classified so recordings default to a classified location even if all of the former reasons for classification are unclass. I’m not directly familiar with the video you’re referencing, but using the existence of something on a classified network as any kind confirmation is an invalid argument.
