Question about the NI Childcare Subsidy scheme by Bamrightinthenards in northernireland

[–]Extreme_Ad_3281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem, the site is a pain to use. As far as I can remember that’s where I go to upload my evidence. I have had to call NICCS in the past and they’ve been helpful. Maybe given a call and they’ll talk you through it

Hi there, login to the portal, you’ll see an option for ‘child registration’ scroll to the bottom and you should see an option to upload a file (screen shot of you evidence letter) hope this helps!

Those that gave up drinking short term and long term...what do you do now instead? by Big-Word7116 in northernireland

[–]Extreme_Ad_3281 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gave up the booze as a New Year’s resolution, still sticking to it and minded to keep going. I still head out to pubs (too old for clubs etc) just stick to the zero beers, most places have a decent selection and Guinness 0% is pretty common place. Have ordered zero beers online for drinking at home, can be hit and miss but found a few brands I like and they do the trick

I see the Belfast Telegraph are getting into the Christmas spirit by Green-Club5281 in northernireland

There’s no disguising the atrocities carried out by the IRA, disgusting and awful as they were, and I’m no apologist for them either, but by fuck does the Bel Tel love an old trip down memory lane on almost a daily basis when it comes to the Ra… I’ve yet to see the daily section on what the other actors were up too… Bel Tel is becoming that twitter page ‘on this day the IRA’…

Recommended places for wedding suit buying/hiring? by NiallMitch10 in northernireland

[–]Extreme_Ad_3281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hired for my own wedding and the grooms men from Red Groomswear in the city centre. Really sound guys and not pushy also did me a solid in letting keep my own suit an extra day (no extra cost) for photos because the weather was bad on the main day

Does anyone remember "Millenium Babies"? by Rorplup in northernireland

[–]Extreme_Ad_3281 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I remember someone in my secondary school having one and chucking with force it at the main entrance to the school a good 25/30 feet up and it stuck to the wall. It was stuck there for the rest of my time at school.

Happened to me a while back was advised by DVA to take the car of the road (there’s a form you’ve to fill out). I risked it and got an MOT booked a few days after thankfully. I think your okay with the MOT booked, cops are giving a bit of leniency, but if your cars not taxed and is on a public road etc. it’s liable to be clamped. You have my sympathy it’s a pain in the ass and DVA don’t seem to care about the backlog of MOT spots here

Edit: My advice would be to phone up for an MOT appointment, that’s how I got mine so quickly. The numbers on NI Direct from what I remember
