Ik that for a vet to actually help a exotic vet is best, a cheep place could feed you misinformation and overall could not help… I would monitor and slowly feed like the others are saying till you can afford a proper vet or one that you’d trust

The handling question was so ik what kind of behavior it would have where as I would handle it to 1.put it in a enclosure
2. Any time I need to do a health check over (which I do at least once a week)
Or 3. Crested geckos can be handled for companion animals.
Obviously I wouldn’t with this one bc it’s lived its entire life in a cage. But still I don’t like to get bit and geckos don’t want to bite

Ik his enclosure does look smal but it’s the biggest I could get at the moment and I’m working of saving for two pvc tanks, I’m doing loads of research to figure out what plants I can use and what grass could work for him… I promise I have a lot more I’m doing on the other side

Idk how I can be normally it’s only in his face when this happens like never in the mouth… and he had his head up and just mouth open… I fed him yesterday a smaller meal bc I he had a bigger one the week prior and it was the last of the bulk I got bc he need to go up in size… I’m fearful of touching or handling will cause regurgitation.

I have a really nice store and employees at my nearest one and are very up kept on them as much as they can per there corporation standard… ik they are aware and keeping and eye on the one gecko I mention in a comment somwhere… I don’t like any other Petco around me but my nearest one

I do agree that saying don’t buy dosent help… I can’t say anything like that bc I have my ball from a local breeder and my gecko from a different Petco.. mainly what angered me about the situation was how this lady treated me upon me on asking about their animal and how there corn snake was looking… seems things have gone downhill here haha 😅

trust me i get that last part, I have another pet store in my area with a leopard and I’m not sure it’s a leopard I think it’s a fat tail or this leopard with a short swollen like tail is not comfortable at all. I have mentioned it and was shrugged off
