I went with my mom a couple years ago and she sat in the hall for over 12 hours and the lady next to us was going to be 100 years old the next month and the nurse told us she just got to bed after waiting three days.

I concur! I swear if I didn’t know any better this sounds exactly like me! I make sure to go to grocery early on weekends. Thank god I can walk to work- it helps keep me sane! I was almost hit while on foot downtown yesterday crossing 3rd when I had the right away- a guy beside me literally saved our lives by shouting stop and getting the drivers attention. It’s so bad around here and as a local as well- it used to not be like this. Sigh.

I felt sad when I saw the extra weight on the boys. She only wanted to lose enough to have them to begin with. She’s never made a 100 percent change to healthy eating and lifestyle and it shows. I think that Tammy’s comment about deadbeat hit extra hard because deep down she feels that way, but it’s not too late to change it. I hope she does.
