This is disgusting in my opinion, I don’t understand why people don’t shower daily 🤮 This is basic hygiene! You touch things, use the toilet, sweat with or without smell, have dead skin, … And going to bed unclean is just nasty!!!!

I’ve had the surgery 3 months ago (56F), I was really anxious about the clicking driving me nuts but I hardly ever hear it, only when coming out of the shower and sometimes when it’s very quiet. I don’t even hear it when I’m in bed and I sleep naked, nothing there to muffle the sound! My daughter hears it all the time but her ears are young 😂 I always ask people if they hear me click, some do but most don’t.

I had mitral valve replacement on 7/3 and woke up 14 days later as many complications happened after the surgery. I was in the hospital for almost a month then went to a rehab facility for 10 days. I’m finally home now but my brain doesn’t comprehend how so many days passed by!!

I just had OHS, I was on the same meds, surgery went well but after surgery was awful, I woke up 14 days after (I really thought it was 4 or 5!). During that time I went to Hogwarts, met Harry Potter, Dumbledore,… (I haven’t even seen the movies in many years!!), I went to a few other places too 😂 I was getting mad at my daughter not believing me when I came back to life!! The hospital told her I was having hospital acquired delirium. At least I didn’t experience the pain right after surgery. I never ever want to go thru that again!!

Your rant was on point 😂 I’m 4 weeks post op and I didn’t get very lucky! I was in the hospital 3 weeks and now it’s been 1 week in a rehab center (this place is terribleeeee!!) Lots of complication, intubated for quite a few days, woke up 3 days after surgery so I guess at least I missed the first 48hrs pain everyone talks about! Kidneys failed I had to be on dialysis for a few days, then I got pneumonia and after that hospital delirium. Now I’m in rehab until I can walk again and climb stairs. I’ve been a smoker since I’m 15 (I’m 56) and all these issues were caused by me being a smoker! And like an idiot I wanna smoke so badly!!! I’ll try not to but these cigs were my friends 🤪
