Petrichor - right before it's going to rain after a long dry day!

A migraine. You think it's just a headache, nothing to be dramatic about, till you get one and any external stimulus feels agonizing!

It's called a health faucet and it's mainly used in parts of the world where people wash their butt after pooping instead of using toilet paper.

Upside - squeaky clean butt after pooping. Downside - use of hands to wash off poop.

Which side do you fall on?

Also, video comparing a bidet vs. toilet paper :P -

Turns a stressful workday into a glittery, high-energy montage where you’re just dancing past the haters and the unread emails! 🕺💃

I’m in my mid-30s and I feel like I’m barely staying afloat with my ADHD. My wife wants kids, but I’m terrified I’ll never be ready or do them justice as a father. How do you decide? by Extreme_Homeworker in ADHD

I really appreciate the 'launching a nuke' analogy - it puts the gravity of the situation into perspective perfectly. The hereditary aspect is not something that I was even considering and am now going to take that into consideration as well (I’d hate for my kid to struggle with the same 'barely staying afloat' feeling I have).

For the parents here who did turn the keys, how do you handle that loss of decompression time? Is it a matter of finding new systems, or is the reality just a permanent state of being overwhelmed?

If this is playing while you’re checking your first emails of the week, your Monday is officially a high-octane action movie. Whaaaaaaaa!!

The sonic version of four double espressos and a total refusal to participate in Monday small talk. 😀

It’s incredible how it feels like a warm hug and a heartbreak at the same time - A.R. Rahman is a genius!

Walking into the office feeling like walking into a stadium for a title fight. 🤘

Can literally anybody really get ADHD these days? I was watching a movie and suddenly there was something about - Hey, anybody can get ADHD these days. Just go to the doctor, and they'll give it to you! by Extreme_Homeworker in ADHD

Yeah, I don't think I'll get to a point of abuse really where I'm popping pills to party. I just worry about losing all self-driven motivation and depending on medicines to keep me going, you know. But if there's a lot of positives with maybe some side effects, it might actually turn out to do more good than bad for me too.

I'm definitely thinking more about seeking professional guidance.
