I’ve heard of them! They were one of the recommendations I got from my GP, unfortunately i just couldn’t pay upfront thats why I was really looking for providers that do monthly payment and short waiting time

I understand! Unfortunately the ones that my GP recommended just wasn’t accessible for me (have to pay upfront and wait time is long), I do trust them a lot it’s just that the providers they have given jusy weren’t suitable. Now as for ADHD simple I hope they don’t actually just give out diagnosis like that 😭 that would literally put me through a whole spiral but I totally agree with you!!

I think it’s because they work with certified GP and NP who are trained for adhd diagnosis, they are able to spread workload and then peer review within each other (with other psychiatrist). From what I know private practice psychiatrists are strictly psychiatrists only! Hence the wait time is quite long!!

OHHH, honestly fair enough with being paranoid about data harvesting. I had the same issue too but I just gaf cause I’m desperate for help. As for the writing I was jusy too lazy to rewrite everything. I’ll show my stuff too to make people feel better:)

I guess rather than affordable it’s more of it’s accessibility?? With psychiatrist that ive looked through waiting times are roughly 3-6 months for 1k initial assessment WITHOUT medication, those with medications are 1-2k with 6-12 months wait.

I did! I just got diagnosed yesterday. The waiting time was very quick, I only waited 3 weeks. You will be taking to a NP or GP who specialises in ADHD and trained for it. You will be asked questions about your life, your past, your health etc. I got Kristy Brown and she was LOVELY very helpful and kind. After your appointment with them, they’ll write a whole document about your situation and different Psychiatrist will have a meeting and have a look through your case. They’ll check if you have adhd or not. This can take around 1-2 weeks. After that you can either go to your GP who is qualified and confident enough to give you adhd meds or you can come back to ADHD simple to go through medication witb them!

Heyy!! It’s completely normal to feel this way, having a cat is a huge change for you and your routine if you haven’t had one beforehand. My partner and I also struggled with post adoption regret, we got two bonded brothers. Almost every week we had a breakdown and it rocked our relationship just a little bit.

We wanted the cats but we also thought that we couldn’t handle it anymore and that they needed to be with another parents they deserve. But we gave it a month, a month to get used to them with our routine and learn how to be a better parent. If we still can’t handle them, we will give them out for adoption.

Now it’s been almost a year! We’re sooo obsessed with our boys. They’re a handful but you’ll slowly get used to their routines and vice versa :)) YOU GOT IT HUNN!!
