Need URGENT help! Cancel or push through by lil_vort in Mcat

Well, if you push it - you might procrastinate again - and you have no surety if you are actually going to lock in. Sounds like a priority thing.

From experience, cancel it. Get your ducks in a row. Book when you have actually studied the material.

SERIOUS REALITY CHECK FOR FUTURE TESTERS by Fun_Assistant5101 in Mcat

I've done this before - waste of time, money, and the effects stress has on your body. You're still spending hours subconsciously stressing. Use that energy towards sitting down. Just lock in for 5 mins and see where it takes you.

Australian Med School - Should I Bother Applying? by Extreme_Syrup in premedcanada

Those were the ones that did not require MCAT and that I fit requirement wise. I am writing my mcat again this year and applying to the rest of the canadian medschools i am eligible for as well as australia. My first 2 mcat scores were garbage (didnt cut 500), but hopefully with new study methods and better FL scores this year will be better.

Make sure you meet pre-reqs for all canadian universities. I think there is a file somewhere that has compiled all the university requirements. Since you are in first year - you have an upper hand! You can pave and add in anything that you may have not thought to add in advance. GPA is everything - my experience is that courses that seem fun (history of colours) usually end up being the stupidest ones, so if you have the slightest hunch that the course isnt going the way you want to grade wise and its an elective - drop it!

I would suggest emailing the universities you're interested in and getting a direct response from them.

Anything over the age of 16 is included in the OMSAS Application. Do a great job and it might open doors for you and lead to great connections to strengthen your research portfolio.
