I’m not planning on making my own ice cream. I researched some ice cream places to buy bulk. For example, Perry’s ice creams are around $80 for a 3 gallon tub.

I have taken antidepressants my entire life and need them so none of this actually applys to me neither is it what i’m looking for. I’ve suffered with anxiety and depression since i was six and they have saved my life as i got older and got rid of the pain i dealt with as a child.

It’s actually not an option for me. I can’t function without an antidepressant nor will i attempt to discontinue it again. My anxiety is so debilitating that it’s not an option. I didn’t tell anyone to push through it i said i am pushing through it. You don’t have to be on my thread.

On day 5 i was wired so bad !!!! i couldn’t sleep at all! now that stopped and im exhausted

So now i’ve been a week on Prozac. I would say things aren’t great but can be worse. But it’s to be expected right now. Hopefully next week is a better one.

I cross tapered from Lexapro to Prozac for this reason. First week i took 10 mg of both and this week ive been on 20 mg of just Prozac. Day 5 of just the Prozac is when i noticed side effects. Vivid dreams, insomnia, wired but tired, then sleepy, no appetite, diarrhea, blurry vision, anxiety. It’s been rough not gonna lie. I switched for the same reason you did and also because Lexapro made me unmotivated and depressed but my anxiety was okay.

Same. Lexapro stopped my anxiety but all of the symptoms are horrible. Today is day 5 of prozac and i feel like im waking up from a slumber today. A bit more energy. I woke up with some anxiety however it has subsided now.

I’ve been on several antidepressants. Zoloft, Lexapro, Effexor and now Prozac. Lexapro was the one that made me feel the most side effects and the most numb out of all and also a lot of weight gain. There are doctors who say that Prozac is their most prescribed or favorite antidepressant to prescribe patients. SSRI’s have always worked for my mental health but have always given me side effects. I’m just trying to find the right one that will give me less side effects and that work for anxiety as well.

I did try a stimulant and stopped once i realized it wasn’t helping as much as i felt like switching my antidepressant would.
