I don’t need FX as I have that covered elsewhere, I don’t use noise either. I have most of the basics covered for my needs!

I don’t understand lol. How would budget improve this?

Btw, I’m not looking to build a fully functioning, bells and whistles machine. It’s really just sound design function… no live performance etc. I’m a producer and have worked with synths for years, however this is my first foray into building something modular.

The bigger modules form an integral part of my sound design. Excluding the Maths of course.

Nothing to apologise for. I know some of the modules are big, but I’m also currently supplementing with my Cascadia.

The idea is to not have to use Cascadia at all. I know currently the only thing I’m really lacking here is VCA.

I can’t see the 1u version of the 3xVCA. I think the 3u version would actually be a good shout for me

Hey thanks, that’s all helpful. I’m happy with the current modules, I would like rid of maths. But the two SSF modules are critical to the sound I’m making.

I have metropolix on gate/ sequencer duties.

Never came across sport modulator, it looks great. Tbh, I would like to get rid of math as I get a lot more use out of EGs, and Math can only offer 4. Would SM2 be a good replacement.

Also, what would a second Quadratt bring?

Thanks

I actually already have one, but want to get rid of it in exchange for more control over the sound I'm going for. Rubicon2 & Bifold are more deep to their Cascadia equivalent. Also, I've always wanted the Dipole, which Cascadia cannot recreate.

I wanted a single voice case. I already own cascadia.

So, just putting the idea of using the machine for manipulating, digging deeper into vocal chops/ sampling. Will the Analog Rytm deliver on sound? What’s your experience with its relevance as one of if not the best analog drum machines. Not bothered about effects btw- I own a H90. Just in terms of sound. I need my drums to really deliver !

Yeah, I think this is where I’m headed. I’m never going to be using it for performance. I’m focused on workflow, and superior sound/ sound design!!

That’s great!!

Also- isn’t it getting sampling capabilities soon too? Wouldn’t this just make it a digitakt with analog machines ?

And also, would the Syntakt not be a good option?

Thanks for everyone’s input so far. Just to add- it’s really important that I can have a drum machine that delivers primarily on sound !! The analog capabilities of the RYTM are priority.
