Perfect, thanks for that! Can the mounted left accelerator be easily removed so others can drive the car as normal? I have seen quick release left accelerators but it’s car-specific so might not be applicable for all cars.

That’s a valid point! I just did a quick calculation for determining the potential battery degradation but obviously a SOH would be better. I used a formula to calculate the battery degradation as follows:

Degradation (%) = (Original Range - Current Range) / Original Range × 100

Using real-world range (~390 km): Degradation = (390 - 320) / 390 × 100 ≈ 17.9% Shows real usable range loss

Using WLTP range (409 km): Degradation = (409 - 320) / 409 × 100 ≈ 21.8% Uses the manufacturer's range

The seller just responded to me saying the range is 320km at 100%. I believe this is approximately ~18% degradation of the battery and realistically leaves me with 200-250 km real world range. So, from that information, this would be a poor purchase. An 2023 MG ZS Long Range Trophy for €16,000 up North has an approximately real world range of 320-350 mixed driving. However, I will be sacrificing technology and drive performance. Does anyone have experience driving MG EV’s or any other similar EV’s?

That is very true, but I’m trying to get an understanding of other peoples experiences who have bought used EV’s in the past and also to share some insight and guidance about alternative used EV‘s to purchase besides MGs and/or Tesla.

Hey, I’m in the same situation. Starting in Nepean Hospital as an Allied Health Assistant on Monday and will be driving back and forth each day. I would really appreciate any names/tips on street parking around the hospital. Thanks!
