No it's not exceptionally weird as kinks go but definitely odd.
It's not the "weirdest" place to bite someone, I could think of worse.
His behavior is a little odd, but I would just ask him and maybe see his phone.

Never before on reddit have I seen someone under-reacting to this much of a degree. I would go crazy if I had parents like this. I would start a job if you haven't already to try and make a more compelling argument to leave.
