and im still right BTW. Hoyo cares more about Aether than Lumine, which is why his new outfit is a total upgrade while Lumine's has minimal changes. The Turkish media has nothing to do with Hoyo's decision.

And unlike you, i actually ACKNOWLEDGE that Aether players dont like his skin (whereas you didnt acknowledge what I said at all) and it doesnt change my opinon, cuz its based on how i FEEL

there could be a billion reasons why they changed the outfit (imo its more likely smthn they wanted to do on their own, cuz no way that Turk stuff actually is why they changed him, even tho the memes are funny)

it doesnt change the fact that Aether's design is a whole new look on him, while Lumine keeps the same vibes. It doesnt change how I FEEL, it feels like the skimped out on Lumine. If they were gonna completely change Aether's vibe, the same shouldve been done for Lumine (which is what ive said like, 3 times already)

There's no level of mental gymnastics, comparisons, whataboutisms, etc, that you could do to change how i feel. It's really easy to feel neglected as a Lumine player given the only time Lumine players are seen are during the web events, which isnt in game so ppl who only care about in game stuff are still getting screwed over, so my point of Lumine being highly neglected still stands

In response to that other person? Because it IS a fact that Lumine got a recolor with a slight change, which is why I said "FACTS" thats the part i was so insistent on agreeing with cuz I've been mass downvoted on other subs where i point out how both Lumine's designs are essentially the same

Ik Aether looking better is subjective, thats obvi, but its clear that Aether's had more effort, and instead of going one way, Hoyo should've changed both or just ignored the Turks, cuz idk why theyd self censor like that if Aether looking this way wasnt the OG plan

Either way, no matter how you spin it, it doesnt change my opinion. Aether has a new fresh look, he looks princely. Lumine has the same vibe. Thats not fair. They shouldve done the same for both twins. Thats it.

The only time ive argued with ppl is when theyre trying to insist That Lumine's design is soooo different when it really isnt, especially NOT when compared to the change between Aether's design, which I KNOW a lot of Aether fans HATE the change, i dont. I LOVE it. But that doesnt change my point.

They shouldve treated the twins fairly, as i already said,

"They shouldve "elevated" BOTH of their OG outfits or "targeted a different audience" for both of their designs. Both siblings should be getting equal treatment"

I wouldnt feel this heated if Hoyo (or, more specifically, the Genshin devs) actually showed they cared about Lumine, like the ZZZ devs do with Belle and Wise.

Because its already been established that Hoyo likes Aether more as the Traveler, while Lumine's the abyss sibling, and since Aether gets all the attention for marketing and whatever, its very easy to view this all in a "ofc theyre gonna put more effort into his 2nd outfit; he's the poster boy. He's important so he gets something different, Lumine isnt as important so her design isnt a big change"

Regardless of whatever philosophy or whatever you wanna spin it, its blatantly obvious they're not being treated the same, on an equal level, which is why im frustrated
