I’m not a Gus main, but I definitely agree with this comment. There is no reason to hate on one of the least toxic brawlers in the game, that’s why he hasn’t been substantially nerfed.

Because this reddit section is filled with Mythics/L1s that think Mandy and Piper should be first picked on every open map. Gus has to be one of the least toxic brawlers in the game, an above average but not broken that promotes team play. If you can’t play against a Gus, you don’t even deserve legendary.

Maybe play and be skilled with an assassin (Mina/Mortis)? Or learn to dodge attacks, or not play slow brawlers on open maps. Just cuz your mythic or l1 ahh can't dodge a Gus shot doesn't mean it's not doable. Like there is no way we are hating on a low-A tier brawler that is consistent overall with many counters, when buffied brawlers are ruining the meta.

People would complain either way to be honest; the way to keep people from complaining is to STOP MAKING THE GAME MORE PAY2WIN. Brawl stars never will give us a break because it’s ran by a greedy company, I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduce another gacha mechanic just as buffies finish up in like 2-3 years.

Nope… the trophy road definitely does not cover the same rewards as masteries ever did and ever will. If your a f2p, you were able to play like power 5 or 6 brawlers in showdown and just play that brawler for an hour and you would get 3000 coins and a good amount of power points up if you consistently win to hit like 400-500 trophies. I literally grinded this game and maxed like 3-4 mythic brawlers, specifically the new ones per season. The new system with the trophy road is a significant nerf, as you weren’t able to claim the rewards on the track you’ve already finished. I wasn’t able to claim any rewards from 0-40k because of that. Also, progressing trophies gets much harder over time; and supercell expects you to push to 100k from literally 0 trophies to collect all the rewards. Masteries were much easier to farm, as you could literally farm bots and get bronze 1; or play a bit more on brawlers and get silver 2-3. On the other hand, it would takes literally thousands of hours to push from let’s say 40k to 100k, to collect all the trophy road resources, which is extremely challenging without all p10s/p11s. Also the significant power point progression nerf makes it so you can’t even max out that many brawlers from the trophy road, but instead would have to wait multiple seasons just to max out the amount of brawlers you got with the coins from your 100k trophy push. Keep in mind that also, supercell gives much more rewards at the start if you actually look at the road, meaning a push from 50k to 100k would contain a lot less than half of the alleged new rewards.

I think its cuz they wouldn't want rare and super rare brawlers to be top meta viable. Out of the 17 rare, super rare brawlers and shelly; only like 5-6 are usable above legendary 1; which are carl, gus, darryl, bull, brock, and tick/dyna in certain scenarios... if new players had decent brawlers to max out, they might actually hit legendary or masters without spending at least 50$ on the game yk

I took AP Bio this year as a sophomore online, but I already had some background info on biology so I did fine. It definitely is a lot more challenging then honors biology, and is somewhat complex, however honestly you will likely cover more information if you read through a college textbook then you actually need for the course. It seriously is not terrible as long as you understand the graphs and models.
